New Student Orientation Program (NSOP)
Description
Welcome to AFROTC Detachment 218! We are excited to provide you with opportunities for personal and professional development while we prepare you to become the best possible Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force or United States Space Force. To start your journey towards officership, you must participate in our New Student Orientation Program (NSOP). You will learn about AFROTC Detachment 218, opportunities available through AFROTC, meet current and former USAF officers from diverse career fields, and receive an initial issue of uniform items to get started.
NSOP is a cadet-led introduction to AFROTC life - you will have the opportunity to learn from fellow students what it means to be a cadet.
Parents are invited as well and will have an opportunity to meet with cadre for a Q&A session. Prospective cadets should receive an email with dates and details for NSOP - if you have not received your invitation by the end of July, please contact our cadre at (812) 237-2657.
